This month’s theme was journey. I love a good journey. It’s tempting to want to stay in the same place, to want things to always be the same. Without movement and change though, there’s no growth, and I think stagnation once you experience it can almost be more scary than change. So a journey is important, whether literal or figurative, it’s the only way to change and grow.
This month’s submissions definitely have me inspired to start a journey of my own. I loved the variety of boats, cars, cityscapes, and country roads. I enjoy the city and the country, so I felt especially torn between Karin Claus’s boat photo, and Tom Simmermaker’s Chicago photo. These two photos feel like the best of both worlds to me, it would be perfect if I could spend the morning on the boat in Karin Claus’s photo, and then head off to Tom Simmermaker’s Chicago for the rest of the day.
Thank you all for your fantastic submissions, and I hope these photos inspire you to head off somewhere new, or start something new.

Every week the FSC features an article with a Curated Photostream that is open to all. You may only submit one (1) photo and it *must* be a jpeg file and no larger than 20 MB.
