CURATED PHOTOSTREAM | MAY 14, 2018 | RUBY BERRY

For this week's Photostream, I tried to think as broadly as I could when making my selections. Because part of the allure of black & white photography is the way it strips out the noise and renders every image more malleable. More open to individual imagination. And this rather ephemeral element carries across all genres:  From landscape to street, from portrait to abstract. So I hoped to get a little bit of everything to express that idea.

As always, it was incredibly difficult to choose from all the amazing images that we submitted. I hope you enjoy my selections and that you find inspiration here.

SUBMIT

Every week the FSC features an article with a Curated Photostream that is open to all.  You may only submit one (1) photo and it *must* be a jpeg file and no larger than 20 MB. Please title the file "Title_Camera_Film_YourName.jpg" so that we may properly credit you if your photo is selected. Remember to check our Submit page to see all currently open photostreams.

Next week will be curated by Marc Nagainis. From Marc:  My next curation will be May 21. I'll be looking for images from your most prolific series.  Show me the work you are most proud of from an ongoing series you are working on. Do your worst, show me your best. Submit your image here.

My next curation is June 11 and the theme is Portraits. You may submit your image here.
