I am a film and digital photographer based in St. Louis, Missouri. After shooting only digital for quite a few years, I have found my way back to film, mostly for personal work at the moment. I realized just how much I missed film - handling and loading it, shooting with more intention, and the look of film. I enjoy shooting life around me, which is usually my children, and I enjoy seeking out the abstract. I am also a documentary and lifestyle family photographer.

Jane McLoughlin
I am Jane McLoughlin, a photographer based in Tasmania, Australia.
I shoot 35mm and medium format film regularly for my personal work. I thoroughly enjoy the tactile nature and the inherent slowness of film photography along with the element of surprise that comes with working with film and film cameras. I process my B&W films by hand at home and I am in the process of setting up a darkroom to make prints from my negatives.
I love how film photography can be a calming, contemplative and fun process in a busy, busy world. You can see some of my film photography work on Instagram (@jane_mcloughlin)
Anda Marcu
I am a visual artist currently living in London, Canada. Working mostly with film, I am fascinated by the manner in which the impermanence of light becomes permanence once it irreversibly reaches the film. I am fascinated by the exploration of light and colors, by the unexpected, by the intimate and delicate relationship light and film share. It is about freezing a moment in time, about the constant crave for fresh sensing, pausing, and discovery.
Revolving around light, my work usually happens when the unintentional becomes intentional. Jumping from one subject or idea to the other, biding bits and pieces together, I find in my work a way of capturing both moments and dreams, and saving them for later.

Adam Miller
I have an endearing passion for both photography and New York City. My love for one feeds off of the other. I love everything about New York City - the massive buildings, the architecture, the people, and the melting pot of diverse styles, cultures and attitudes. I am fascinated by our New York way of life and seek to encapsulate those unique people-watching moments and spectacular cityscapes whenever possible.
I am so lucky to be able to live, work and raise a family in Manhattan. And I am the most fun shooting partner so please look me up if you are ever in NYC :)
I am an avid flickr user at www.flickr.com/streetphotography_nyc and also maintain an online portfolio and store at www.adammiller.nyc
Jocelyn Mathewes
I’m Jocelyn–mixed-media interdisciplinary artist living in the hills of Appalachia in east Tennessee. I make solar-powered art, document genuine moments for real people, and am mother to three tiny humans.
I've been making images since I was 12, and have had a creative career as a photographer and graphic designer since I was 20. I've been documenting celebrations, people, and families for over a decade. In my artmaking, I freely use alternative processes (especially cyanotype), films, and digital interchangeably. My analog photographs are made with a combination of negatives, contact printing, paper, and textiles.

Amanda Thomas Carey
I found my way back to film after I lost myself in the digital world. Like many mothers before me, I quickly stumbled into the trap of overshooting and overediting in an effort to document every feature, every milestone, every moment. About three years after my first daughter was born, I finally discovered the fetters in which I had become entangled. Clicking through images from the past year, I discovered with a growing sense of horror that I had created a meticulously curated collection of posed, perfect, Photoshopped models. This was not my life. These were not my children.
So I dropped digital, and picked up an old film camera from my youth. I fell back in love hard and fast, embracing the grain and cherishing the true, imperfect moments of my life and family. I strive to document our short time together authentically, and drag them on adventures around town, the country, and the world, always stopping to appreciate the little things and never ceasing to be grateful for the beauty that surrounds. I find that I am most inspired by messes, emotions, leading lines, and opportunities to frame a story.
Richard PJ Lambert
My name is Richard PJ Lambert and I'm from Birmingham, England. I think of photography as being akin to music. Growing up listening to bands like Pavement and Beck, I found myself singing along to the surreal lyrics and creating my own meanings. Whilst the words seemed weird and oblique, they could still be affecting - inviting you into their own self contained worlds
I’m interested in pictures that work the same way, that maybe ask more questions than they answer. I take a camera everywhere, so when strange things happen in everyday life I take a picture. I find the unusual beautiful. Collecting moments like this, snapshots can work like non sequiturs, leaving connections to be deciphered by the viewer.
I use film because the mechanics of making a picture are transparent and easy to understand. I don’t think choice of medium can determine the quality of a photograph, but for me the analogue process feels more spontaneous, creative and fun. I couldn’t get the same results without it.
Abigail Crone
Abigail is an artist that works primarily with instant film. What she loves about working with instant film is that no matter how carefully she plans her photos she is still forced to embrace imperfection. The nature of instant film is that there are always surprises with the way colors and tones appear. It’s impossible to know what the result will be every time. It brings an organic nature to each of her photos that she finds it is always a joy to work with.
Her work is simply about sharing her world, and sharing what is beautiful to her. It’s also about embracing the intersection of beauty and imperfection.
Abigail’s work has been featured in Impossible Magazine, Hylas Magazine, and Femme Fotale.
