I find that this time of the year is often one of introspection and of unformed expectations. Ever an optimist, I want to look both inward and outward and see the changes for good that this year might bring. As I looked through the submissions for this Photostream -- my first of the new year -- I was taken by the images that captured a "forward" perspective. People looking out. Looking up. Looking ahead.
I don't know what awaits us as we move ahead in this new year, but I hope that we all move forward and that we all can bring more good into this world.
SUBMIT
Every week the FSC features an article with a Curated Photostream that is open to all. You may only submit one (1) photo and it *must* be a jpeg file and no larger than 20 MB. Please title the file "Title_Camera_Film_YourName.jpg" so that we may properly credit you if your photo is selected.
Please note that we will be changing how we announce and handle submissions in a few weeks. Essentially, each curator will announce the theme for their next curation rather than the next week. We will be adding a Submissions Page to the site so that readers can see all the information and links to submit in one place.
My next curation will be February 12 and there will be no theme. You may submit your image here.
Next week's Photostream will be curated by Marc Nagainis and the theme is "Darkroom Work." You may submit your image here.
