I like being surprised by art. I love art that makes me think or gives me pause. I asked you all to surprise me. Unfortunately, baring a few images below, there was nothing really surprising in this weeks submissions. Maybe its just me and my autumn malaise, but while images submitted were pretty interesting and some were technically well done, they really didn’t create any sense of surprise in me. The whale was close. I mean really, a wooden whale? awesome. The cowboy? Great shot, nice slice of life, I’d crop the top 1/3rd… Olympic Park in Montreal? Unique perspective and great lighting. Tracks? good overall composition from a unique angle. Daydreaming? I like the expression on her face and the colours of the image. SouthernDown, great colours. The Eye? catching ;) The rest? Well done enough, but not surprising. Till next time all, have a great festive season and enjoy whatever you celebrate at the end of December. Thank you all, and I’ll curate you again next year.
