I came across the Film Shooters Collective a couple of years ago while I was link hopping on some google search or another for "film photography" or "film camera review", or "film developing"... something like that.  I'd seen a lot of collectives and groups online previously but none of them held my attention the way the FSC did.  I'll be the first to admit I'm not much of a joiner, so I surprised myself when, after a time stalking the site I contacted Cameron to see if the FSC was accepting new members.   It took me a while longer, but I finally sent in some images for consideration.

The feeling of inclusion I had in seeing one of my images posted outside of my own website came as a bit of a surprise to me.  Like I said earlier, I'm not a joiner, I've been rolling my own semi-daily website since 2002, but this was different.  It felt like the right place and the right time to pursue this (with a nod to Easy Rider).

This weeks images were chosen with a mind to the outliers of our collective.  The works are very strong but skirt convention.  The images also seem to be at the edge of the norm of each artists, judged from the perspective of their previous work, where I could find it.  Some artists have not been published much, some have.  It's all about the right place, the right time and the right people.  Enjoy this bakers dozen of images.
