Signs, Messages, and Speech.
From the minute we are born, we are constantly trying to connect with the world around us. Language -- whether written or spoken -- is how we connect our internal thoughts to the external world. It is how we make our needs and thoughts known to others; how we are HEARD and UNDERSTOOD.
Even though this week there was no theme, it quickly become quite clear that the dollar bill was talking to me. Each of these shots has a message, a sign, or some other attempt at speech, whether it's the bright, blind screams of advertising, the anonymous meaning of a meaningless scrawl, or people shouting into the void. I hope you enjoy them. And that this week you find the message you need.
SUBMIT
Every week the FSC features a Curated Photostream that is open to all. You may only submit one (1) photo and it *must* be a jpeg file and no larger than 20 MB. Please title the file "Title_Camera_Film_YourName.jpg" so that we may properly credit you if your photo is selected.
Next week will be curated by Amy Jasek and the theme is "Wanderlust." You can submit your photo here.
