Hello, my name is John and I live in the UK, in the county of Derbyshire. I am into finding and hopefully using those often maligned and very much forgotten film cameras such as cheap compacts and SLR's such as the Canon T50 that you come across laying unwanted in a dark corner. The chance of giving them another go at life by cleaning them up and putting a film (even an expired one) through them is what keeps me interested. Even the most basic of them can sometimes surprise you if you apply a little thought before pressing the shutter button.
