Antoine Ringeard Tordjeman
My name is Antoine, I'm a French engineer working as a management consultant for the biggest firm. Using cameras is my way to hold onto the last shreds of my soul and humanity during my free time. I have spent time and shot film in France, China and the USA, and currently live in beautiful Paris.
I will probably never get to call myself a photographer but that's ok, I'm a camera enthusiast and photography hobbyist. I shoot film because of the cameras and the process. The cameras, because there is no other object that conveys a stronger sense of purpose and honest engineering than a mechanical camera that keeps ticking, whirring and clapping after decades of use. The process, because since photography is a pastime, I want to spend some time on it, and be able to feel that the result is something I've created, as opposed to the work of some software engineer at Canon.
Things that never fail to catch my eye photographically include, in no particular order: neon signs, American roads, musicians, the Eiffel tower, my wife, Soviet cameras on eBay.
