I am so grateful for the opportunity to guest curate this week. I was thrilled to be able to see all of your wonderful submissions and have the experience off whittling it down to a select few. When asked to come up with a theme for this week's curated stream I immediately thought of those surprises we all have when shooting film. Part of the fun of shooting film is the anticipation in waiting to see if the photos came out as we expected. Usually they do, but sometimes we get unexpected but awesome surprises due to camera malfunctions, a lack of attention to detail, expired film, or any number of issues. You all make such beautiful work even when it is by mistake!
